What is a contract lift? A contract lift is the carefully planned, documented and supervised lift of equipment following the regulations as detailed in the BS7121 (safe use of cranes). When you hire a crane from CTC we must provide you with an appointed person operator who will meticulously plan your lift and then provide you with a detailed method statement before commencing any work. The appointed person will then supervise the lifting operation ensuring that the method statement is followed closely thus adhering to the BS7121 code of practice. CTC have appointed people available for you to hire, with or without equipment and crew. If you need our expertise, we can be there for you at a reasonable hire cost and remove the worry of following those BS7121 rules - let us worry about them for you.
Slinger Banksmen also available to hire Ensure you have someone who can follow and is aware of: The statutory duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other relevant legislation Correct slinging procedures and signaling techniques The importance of weight, centre of gravity and sling and angles in relation to the safe working load of the lifting tackle.
